This model includes integrated gigabit and a USB interface. It has a 3.5 inch graphical color display with a white backlight and graphical labels that can be administered centrally. In select countries and regions, the 9611G deskphone is available as a global model, without English language text on the faceplates. Also, a contact center model provides simplified access to greetings, in-queue call monitoring, agent status updates, and more.

Solidly built, elegantly designed, and future ready to support the way you work for years to come, these phones are packed with features that help drive collaboration enterprise wide. A select set of 9600 Series IP Deskphones offer touchscreen access to web-based applications, menus, calendars, and directories, plus high-quality voice calls, instant messaging, voice messaging, conference calling, and more. Superior acoustics in the phones and handsets reduce distracting background noise and provide a broader range of audio frequencies for a more you-are-there experience. Access instant messaging, colleagues’ presence status, calendar, call history, web-based productivity apps and more—right from your IP phone. Large, color touchscreens and customizable softkeys make these phones easy to learn and use. Plus, use 40% to 60% less energy than you do with comparable phones.

These GigE phones don’t require a separate ethernet outlet for co-located PCs, which lowers costs while maintaining the bandwidth computers need. You also gain the option to add more data-intensive services or applications down the road.

The 9600 Series IP Deskphones work with the Avaya Aura® Platform. Most models also work with the Avaya IP Office™ Platform, however models 9670G and 9601 are not compatible with IP Office.
