Wireless headsets are headpieces  allow people to listen to music, hear phone calls, and other audio content wirelessly. They work by transmitting sound through radio waves instead of through the cord connecting the device to the user’s ear. Wireless headsets can provide a more comfortable listening experience, as there is no need for an extra wire attaching the headset to the phone or audio player. Wireless headsets can be used with phones, music players, and other devices that have bluetooth enabled.

Plantronics/Poly Savi 7210

The Savi 7200 Office series replaces the highly regarded CS500 series. The 7210 variant is the mono (one eared) headband style, designed to work with desk phone ONLY. The 7200s use DECT wireless technology to connect to its base unit (not Bluetooth) for the best possible sound quality and range. It comes with the cable to connect to 99% of phones.

Plantronics/Poly Savi 8210-M

Designed for use with computer only, the Poly Savi 8210-M UC is a mono (one-sided) DECT wireless headset which comes with a charge stand and a standard USB dongle to establish a cable free connection. This model is certified for use with MS Teams.

Plantronics/Poly Savi 8220 UC

Designed for use with computer only, the Poly Savi 8220-M UC is a duo (2 earcups) DECT wireless headset which comes with a charge stand and a standard USB dongle to establish a cable free connection. The earcups have ACTIVE Noise Cancelling. It's great for use with softphones, for webinars and online meetings as well as dictation and listening to audio files. This is NOT a Bluetooth headset. It uses DECT 6.0 which gives you the best sound quality and range. You cannot connect this model to a mobile and it must always be used in conjunction with the USB dongle. This variant is not 'optimised' or 'certified' for use with Skype for Business or MS Teams (though it will work with both). Look for the -M version of this headset if you plan to use with those applications.

Plantronics/Poly Savi 8240

The new Plantronics Savi 8240 Office is their newest all-in-one headset that works with your office phone, your computer and your mobile phone too. It will replace the W740 model and has many of the same features (it looks almost identical)
The 8200 series are designed to work with desk phone, computer and mobile phone and it's simple to switch between devices. Do note however that the 'mobile phone' aspect is only in the office as the Bluetooth connection is from the base unit of the headset to your mobile. This means you'll just leave your mobile on the desk so it remains paired to the base. As with all wireless headsets you will need an accessory to answer calls from the desk phone when out of reach. We know, it seems crazy that even such a sophisticated headset as this can't perform this apparently simple task but there are so many different phones all with different requirements that this functionality just can't be built into the headset. We call it a RAD (remote answering device). It could be a standard handset lifter or a special 'electronic hook switch' (EHS) cable that runs from the base unit to the telephone - it all depends on which make and model phone you have. If your phone has a USB headset port you may not need this but at time of writing, those phones are as rare as hens' teeth and you could have a different ANC headset for that anyway. NB if you already have a Plantronics headset and you are just replacing it, you may not know you have an 'EHS' have a look at the set up. If you have a Poly/Plantronics lifter and your phone is not changing, this headset will work with it.

Poly/Plantronics Savi W7220

The Savi 7200 Office series replaces the highly regarded CS500 series. The 7220 variant is the duo (two-eared) headband style, designed to work with desk phone ONLY. The 7200s use DECT wireless technology to connect to its base unit (not Bluetooth) for the best possible sound quality and range. It comes with the cable to connect to 99% of phones.

Sennheiser DW Office ML DW10ML

This version of the Sennheiser DW Office is suitable for all softphones and also certified for use with Skype for Business, Lync and compatible with Teams. Call control from the headset is soft phone dependent, if this is a feature you require contact us or your softphone provider to check compatibility
Designed for Sennheiser wireless headsets, the HSL10 handset lifter connects under your phone’s hand piece like a robotic cradle. When the phone rings, your headset will beep in your ear. You simply hit the button on the side of your headset and this sends a signal to the robotic cradle to lift the hand piece up. This then accepts the call and you start to talk through the headset. To hang-up, you simply hit the button on your headset again and the cradle puts the hand piece back. In this way you can answer and hang up on calls away from your desk when using a wireless headset. The Sennheiser model is unique amongst lifters in that it can be programmed to recognise 2 different ring tones. What does this mean? Well if your phone has one tone for internal and one for external calls, even when your phone display is out of sight you can be sure you’re answering with the appropriate greeting (top tip – this is never ‘yeah whaddyawant’). Remember, however, that the lifter will not let you perform any other phone function like transfer or conference. It purely provides a convenient way to take calls from anywhere in the office without having to return to your desk. Some modern phones require a different solution called an Electronic Hook Switch or 'EHS'. If you're not sure what kind of lifter your phone needs, give us a call, we're here to help!

Sennheiser IMPACT D10

The Sennheiser D10 Phone Wireless Headset (aka the D10PH) is a mono-aural (on one ear) wireless headset, designed for use with a desk phone only. It comes with both headband and ear-hook styles and has similar specs to the outstanding DW Office (DW10). You will see several D10 models on our website that, at quick glance, all look the same - so it's important to note that this particular model works with your desk phone only, while the D10 USB connects to your computer only.

Sennheiser IMPACT DW Office USB ML Wireless Headset

This version of the Sennheiser DW Office is suitable for all softphones and also certified for use with Skype for Business, Lync and compatible with Teams. Call control from the headset is soft phone dependent, if this is a feature you require contact us or your softphone provider to check compatibility
The Sennheiser DW Office USB Wireless Headset (aka the DW10USB) is the best quality headset you can get to work with your computer (only) PC that has multiple wearing styles. It comes with an earhook and headband in the box and an ultra-stylish base unit. In the words of Tina Turner, the latest Sennheiser DW OfficeUSB Wireless Headset is ‘simply the best’; if you believe that quality is king, this is the headset for you. You will see several DW Office models on our website that all look the same - it's important to note that this particular model works with your computer only, whilst the original DW Office connects to both your desk phone AND your computer. As a company we’re proud to be able to offer the full DW range to our clients and we challenge anyone to find a better headset range. Plantronics had dominated the market for such a long time but you can certainly argue that with the DW range, Sennheiser is the new heavyweight champion of the wireless headset world. The headphone and microphone gurus at Sennheiser have used their 60 years of audio experience and R&D to create headset perfection. As we always say, the golden rule of headsets is to buy the best you can afford and, we hope your boss has given you the ok to buy any model in the new DW range.

Sennheiser IMPACT DW Pro 2 ML Wireless Headset

This version of the Sennheiser DW Pro 2 is suitable for all softphones and also certified for use with Skype for Business, Lync and compatible with Teams. Call control from the headset is soft phone dependent, if this is a feature you require contact us or your softphone provider to check compatibility.
Why settle for the rest why you can have the best? The Sennheiser DW Pro 2 is part of the flagship DW range, and distils all of Sennheiser’s considerable knowledge into 1 superb piece of hardware. It takes the DW Office to the next level, offering even more rugged build quality and ultra-noise cancelling. If you’re happy to do without these extra features, opt for the still excellent DW Office and save yourself a few dollars. But if you want a headset without compromise, the DW Pro 2 is the answer. If you’re looking to answer calls away from your desk you'll need an HSL10 handset lifter or an Electronic Hook Switch depending on the phone you have (call our staff for assistance). The HSL10 fits on your telephone base and lifts the hand piece up or down when you push a button on your headset, letting you answer and hang up on calls from anywhere in the office. A handset lifter for this headset is available separately, or as a great value pack. The Sennheiser DW Pro 2 wireless headset is identical to the DW Pro 1, except it is binaural (2 ear cups), making it ideal for heavy phone use. Like the DW Pro 1, this really is a headset without compare. As far as binaural models at this level the latest SAVI 720 is very good also. If both these are beyond your budget then look at the Jabra Pro 9450 or 9450 Duo. We always recommend you buy the best you can afford, and if your budget stretches to the DW Pro 2, you can rest assured that you really are getting the best.
